Dato che è sfuggito a parecchie persone oggi vi parlo di questo libro uscito l’anno scorso per la casa editrice Melville House: How to Sharpen Pencils. Un intero libro dedicato all’arte del temperare le matite; si potrebbe pensare ad uno scherzo ma l’autore ne ha fatto una vera e propria professione: ha creato anche un sito web in cui dà istruzioni e suggerimenti su questo gesto che può sembrare una cosa elementare ma che, se fatto con la tecnica e gli strumenti adatti, è una vera e propria arte.

This book has been published last year by Melville House and is entirely dedicated to the art of sharpening pencils. This is no joke as the author even managed to create a job for himself out of this: he even created a website where he gives recommendations and suggestions about sharpening penciles, an act that can appear very simple but could, in fact, become an art once you practise with the right tecnique and instruments.
