Questo San Valentino ha sicuramente un sapore diverso in Italia, dove ancora oggi poter amare chi amiamo per molti non è un diritto. Un caro amico, Carlo Giuseppe Gabardini, nella sua lettera indirizzata ai parlamentari in riferimento alla votazione della legge Cirinnà (che potete leggere qui) ci ricorda che “se capiamo che questo non è un derby e che questa legge favorirà tutte le famiglie, finalmente – se mi permettete un gioco di parole – #cirinnamoreremo gli uni degli altri.”
E allora che amore, amore sia, e celebriamo questa festa con i bellissimi “Baci” illustrati da Goele Dewanckel. Il bacio di un nonno all’amata nipotina, il bacio impossibile tra il sole e la luna, quello tra un uomo e una donna e quello tra una donna e una donna. Valentine’s has definitely a different taste in Italy this year, as loving the person you love is still not a right. A dear friend, Carlo Giuseppe Gabardini, has written a letter to the members of Parliament who are discussing the Cirinnà law about the civil unions (you can read the letter here) and said: “if we understand that this is not a derby and that tevery family will take advantage of this law, we will finally fall in love again for one another”.
